I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist who is passionate about engaging in research, providing clinical services, and teaching individuals about bilingual language and literacy disorders and gender expansive voice work.
It’s nice to meet you. My name is R.J. Risueño (pronounced ris-WAYNE-yo) and my pronouns are he/him. I have been a speech-language pathologist (SLP) for 3 years and I am currently a PhD student in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Arizona State University.
As an SLP, I have worked in a variety of settings with individuals across the lifespan. I am passionate about working with trans and gender non-conforming individuals
